Healthy Heart

If you like cooking, you can try different healthy foods. You lose your appetite when you cook your own meals and it helps you make sure about ingredients are really healthy or not. My mom and I tried a new recipe with foods which are high-protein. Especially for working people it’s very difficult to find healthy food in restaurants around your office and also can not make sure ingredients are healthy or not. , I know from myself;) Today’s recipe is named by me as ‘Healthy Heart’, coming from it’s shape 😉 Of course, you can use different pots for different shapes. Let’s get started;)

Healthy Heart

Serves: 4 Cooking Time: 40 min/dk

Ingredients

  • 2 glass of green lentil / 2 su bardağı yeşil mercimek
  • 1,5 kg leek / pırasa
  • 7/8 walnuts / ceviz
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain flour / 1 yemek kaşığı tam buğday unu
  • 1 egg / yumurta
  • 1 tbsp salt / 1 yemek kaşığı tuz
  • 1 tbsp cumin / 1 yemek kaşığı kimyon
  • 1 tbps olive oil / 1 yemek kaşığı zeytinyağı

Instructions

Boil lentil with 1 glass of water for 15 min.

Add fine-cut leeks into boiled lentil, and keep going for more 20 min. If there is still water in braiser, filter and leave it to get warm.

Add wholegrain flour, egg, cumin, salt, and walnuts and mix them all.

Put your mix into oiled tray and cook by baking for 25 min until it's roasted. Bon Appetite;)

Yeşil mercimeğinizi 15 dk 1 su bardağı suda haşlayın. Sonra içine ince doğranmış pırasalarını ekleyip 20 dk daha haşlamaya devam edin. Tencerenizde hala su kalırsa, bu suyu süzüp ılımaya bırakın. mercimek ve pırasalar haşlandıktan sonra içine tam buğday unu, kimyon, tuz, yumurta ve cevizlerini ilave edip karıştırın. Bu karışımı tepsiye dökün ve fırında 25 dk üzeri kızarana kadar pişirin. Şimdiden afiyet olsun;)
